COUNTY YOUTH TEAM NOMINATIONS 2003

Qualifications for nominations are as below:

NOMINATIONS FOR ALL COUNTY YOUTH TEAMS

1. Nominations should come from Leagues or County Bodies only and not from individuals or individual clubs (the latter should nominate through their league).

2. The boys nominated have to be promising young cricketers and the nominations should be on the correct forms. Any special performances should be highlighted.

Nominations do NOT imply automatic invitation to the trials. Boys who appear to fit the standard required will be invited by letter to the trials with a form to be returned, which must be fully completed.

Nominations should be sent for all teams to Eric Chadderton, 50 Bradford Road, St Johns, Wakefield WFl 2AB to be received no later than 30th April of the current year.

ECB UNDER 17 CHAMPIONSHIP

These are all two-day matches.

1. Boys must be bona fide playing members of a club affiliated to YCB or contracted to the Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

2. Boys must be under 17 years of age on 1st September 2002 and their availability in respect of the programme (see the pages on Fixtures) must be clearly stated.

3. Details of trials will be sent to those nominated and accepted for trial.

YCB UNDER 16s Xl

Matches have again been arranged against other counties and YCB will be defending the Jersey Festival Trophy in August.

1. Boys must be bona fide playing members of a club affiliated to YCB.

2. Boys must be under 16 years of age on 1st September 2002 and their availability in respect of the programme (see the pages on Fixtures) must be clearly stated.

3. Details of trials will be sent to those nominated and accepted for trial.

YCB UNDER 19 Xl

These are one or two day matches.

1. Boys must be bona fide playing members of a Club affiliated to YCB or contracted to the Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

2. Boys must be under 19 years of age on 1st September 2002 and their availability in respect of the programme (see the pages on Fixtures) must be clearly stated.
